In order to use the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN), you first need to sign up for MoodRx.com and select whether you are looking for individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, or only using the platform for monitoring your mental health through our free self-assessments. Once you have done this and successfully logged in, a member of the MoodRx Therapy Network will reach out to you in order to set up a date and time for a free 15-minute consultation with a licensed therapist. Before your scheduled consultation, you will be asked to complete an intake form as well as your self-assessments in order for us to match you with most appropriate therapist for you. After the match, you will begin sessions with your therapist!
The MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) offers free referrals as well as a free initial 15 minute consultation, however, you will pay for your sessions at the following rates:

You can 100% use the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) if you have never been to therapy before. MoodRx understands that it can be difficult to find providers that are located in your area that can meet all of your personal needs on your own for the first time, and we want the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) to be user-friendly as well as provide an easier and less stressful process for this. By taking your self-assessments and your intake form and discussing your needs during the consultation, MoodRx will be able to help provide you with a provider that best fits your needs!
It is perfectly ok to change a provider if you are not satisfied with the provider assigned to you. Simply contact MoodRx and request the change. Someone will call you to discuss your concerns and recommend a new provider based on your needs and provider availability.
We are continuously hiring MTN providers across The United States. During the referral process, we will discuss your needs and place you with the appropriate MTN Provider. If there is no MTN Provider available for your state, you may still engage with out-of-state licensed mental health providers as a coaching patient.

We invite you to consider joining MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) as a provider to expand your practice with a flexible and rewarding experience using our state of the art practice management software.
In order to be a MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed provider from a U.S state, you must physically reside in the United States, and you will carry a valid professional liability insurance.
A MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider is contracted with MoodRx as a 1099 contractor and can choose their workload based on their availability. For example, you may see as little as 1 client or as many as 30 clients per week.
Compensation is based on the following rates for MTN Providers:
One hour session - $75 (USD)
This includes the free use of the MoodRx practice management platform for all referral patients. If you see 10 or more MTN referral patients a month, the appointment charges of $0.50/appointment (USD) will be waived for your personal practice.
Yes! MoodRx allows the option for providers to have and be in multiple practices all with one login. You can select which practice you would like to use by clicking on the preferred practice in your profile's dropdown menu.
To join MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) as a provider, please fill out our contact form and select the "MoodRx Therapy Network Related Inquiry" option. Once we've received your contact form, we will reach out to you with next steps if we have positions available.
Once you have been selected to be a MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) Provider and login, you will see the list of all of the patients that have been assigned to you. You can then begin scheduling appointments, messaging, taking session notes, billing, etc. with these patients all within the MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) practice.
Yes! We provide numerous tutorials within the platform that you can view at anytime to help guide you through our different features and functionalities as well as virtual training with a MoodRx staff member upon request.
No, MoodRx is a practice management platform available to all providers. You may use MoodRx to just run your own practice, a group practice, or multiple practices. You may also choose to join MoodRx Therapy Network (MTN) to get extra client referrals, but participation in MTN is not required to use MoodRx as a comprehensive practice management tool that provides scheduling, notes, messaging, billing, intern management, practice management, create AI generated content, and the ability to add admins, practice providers, and interns.
Yes, you can monitor your own mental health by taking the free self-assessments and viewing them on your MoodRx dashboard to see your mental health trends.
Students may use MoodRx resources for free online self-assessment, free consultation with a licensed therapist to map their mental health journey, and get therapy from a licensed therapist online.
